  • Lead designer on the project, in which I designed all the game systems such as the core gameplay loop, progression, boss behaviour and game modes
  • Developed all the art assets (sprites, UI, animation), leading overall creative direction

Game Description:
  • On The Flip Side is a single input method endless runner mobile game, in which the player switches between two states to control all the elements around them rather than the player itself to survive as long as possible.
  • The design goal was to create a single input mechanic that all other systems were based around. This brought a lot of it’s own unique design challenges, along with having an atypical art direction, which meant not being able to rely on standard tropes to convey systems quickly.
